In 1965, Khalid noticed steelworkers in Dubai losing hours to dull, imported blades that snapped without warning. In a tiny workshop with one lathe and his father's old tools, he forged the first TFI cold saw blade. What began as a fix for his neighbors became the foundation of a family business that still operates from the UAE today.

Engineer Faisal Al-Nasser opens a small workshop with three employees and a lathe machine. His vision is simple: create durable cutting tools for the rapidly growing construction industry in the UAE.
After nearly a decade of testing and refinement, we manufacture our first cold saw blade. Local fabricators immediately notice the cleaner cuts and longer blade life compared to expensive European imports.
We expand into high-performance steel blades for heavy industry. The new line supports landmark infrastructure projects across the Emirates and marks our evolution from workshop to regional manufacturer.
The company moves to a purpose-built 25,000 square foot factory in Ajman. We invest in German CNC equipment, doubling output while the second generation of the Al-Nasser family joins the business.
Now in our third generation of family leadership, we operate an in-house R&D lab developing carbide-tipped blades and sustainable manufacturing processes. Our tools are trusted in 22 countries.
